Role
Civil Engineer role in the UAE construction industry requiring at least two years of relevant experience.
Work location is in person.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure civil works follow approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and engineering teams.
- Review drawings and ensure their correct implementation on site.
- Monitor material and workmanship quality and maintain site records and daily progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with MEP teams, assist with inspections and snagging, and coordinate corrective actions for site issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum two years of civil engineering experience in the UAE construction industry; the experience section also describes two years as preferred.
- Knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.
