Civil Construction Project Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise civil construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Deliver projects within approved time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor daily construction activities against approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and construction programmes.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular management reports; manage manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, HSE standards, and project specifications.
• Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions; control costs, variations, and subcontractor performance.
• Inspect sites and maintain quality; coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, handover, and close-out.
• Lead project meetings, maintain stakeholder communication, and keep project records and correspondence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least eight years of relevant civil construction/project management experience in Dubai/UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, and authority requirements.
• Proven ability to manage construction projects from start to completion and multiple teams and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and HSE requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant construction/project management software.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Must be willing to work at project sites and manage day-to-day construction activities.
• Dubai/UAE-based candidates and immediate joiners are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 12,000–15,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.

Workplace

• Work location is in person at project sites in Dubai.
