Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure project contracts for a project with an Abu Dhabi government entity, from award through closeout.
Key responsibilities
- Manage contract obligations and documentation; monitor milestones, timelines, and terms.
- Work with the legal team on standard contract templates and clause libraries.
- Assess supplier compliance and performance with project teams and flag deviations.
- Run change orders from request to approval, assess time and cost impacts, and maintain the change-control log.
- Review amendments, extensions, and renewals; review contractor claims and support disputes or potential arbitrations.
- Verify payment certificates against work progress, milestones, and cost approvals; follow up with Finance.
- Monitor retentions, advance-payment recovery, and guarantees.
- Execute financial settlements and support closeout, recording lessons learned and supplier feedback.
- Prepare contract-management reports and compliance dashboards.
Requirements
- 5โ10 years of practical contract management experience in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with change order management, claims review, and payment certification.
- Solid knowledge of supplier performance management and contract compliance.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with contract financial controls, retentions, advance payments, guarantees, and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, Construction Law and Arbitration, or Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Full professional membership with RICS (MRICS), CIArb (MCIArb), or equivalent is preferred.
- ADERP experience is a plus.

Package
- AED 25,000 per month.
