Qualifications
- **Education:**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- **Certification:**
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications are highly desirable.
- **Experience:**
- 8–12 years in finance, with a strong preference for those with leadership experience.
- **Skillset:**
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management, paired with top-tier communication skills for stakeholder management.
About Job Role
- As our financial lead, you will act as a key advisor to the CEO and senior management, helping steer the ship through expansion and strategic initiatives.
- Your responsibilities include:
- **Strategic Planning:**
- Developing long-term financial strategies that align with our organizational goals.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting:**
- Managing annual budgets, analyzing variances, and keeping our forecasts sharp and updated.
- **Financial Health:**
- Managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure we stay operationally stable.
- **Growth & Funding:**
- Securing financing—from loans to investor funding—and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
- **Risk & Governance:**
- Identifying financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring rock-solid internal controls and compliance.
- **Team Leadership:**
- Leading and developing our finance team to perform at their best.
Reporting & Support
In this position, you will report directly to the
Managing Director
.
You will also be responsible for communicating our financial performance and strategy to our board members, investors, and partners
