Role overview

Education and experience

• At least 8 years of project experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Degree or higher diploma in project management, civil engineering, or a technical field.

Role capabilities

• Strong project management, leadership, customer focus, relationship-building, and team commitment.
• Demonstrated budget and schedule management, contract document review, and drawing interpretation across trades.
• DWG and CAD proficiency, strong verbal and written communication, and excellent administrative skills.
• Engineering standards knowledge spanning MEP, civil engineering, HVAC, and asset lifecycle management.
• Design management capabilities in spatial planning, material selection, and aesthetic quality control.
• Additional languages suited to the region are described as ideal.

Project delivery

• Manage daily project management activities and ensure hotel facilities and systems operate properly.
• Direct inspections, evaluations, asset management, and physical condition reviews of contractor- and consultant-occupied work areas.
• Support the Director of Engineering in improving project delivery quality and guest and employee satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering disciplines and manage design, commercial stewardship, contractual oversight, and risk mitigation.
• Identify logistics and operational bottlenecks before they affect projects.

Compliance and standards

• Coordinate government approvals and compliance with fire and life safety rules.
• Help secure and maintain permits and licenses for the building and physical plant.
• Support compliance with facility regulations, safety standards, and Engineering department policies and procedures.
• Ensure employees have appropriate supplies, equipment, uniforms, and personal protective equipment.

• Full-time schedule.
