Chief Accountant with a proven track record of success to take control of the overall finance function of the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall accounting function and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.
- Hands on approach with daily involvement in all aspects of the accounting cycle.
- To bring in added value in terms of enhancement of the operation and internal control procedures.
- Always looking to improve the systems and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
- Lead and supervise the accounting team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, 3 years of which in a senior role.
- Full familiarity and in-depth knowledge with the whole process of financial & management accounting, cash flow forecasting/reporting and budgetary controls.
- Ability to question the numbers with great analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS along with practical knowledge of The Kingdom tax regulations covering VAT, WHT. Zakat and fully familiar with ZATCA requirements.
- Ability to priorities tasks, meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to foresee operational issues and rising to the challenges.
- Strong presentation and communication skills together with report writing skills.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and people management skills.
- An excellent team player.
- Experience with ERP systems and their implementation (Odoo preferable), advanced Microsoft excel skills.
- Experience in dealing with external auditors.
- Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
- Accountancy professional qualification/part qualification preferable.
- Accounting experience in the health/medical sector preferable.
