Kitchen preparation and cooking
- Wash and peel produce; portion, chop, store, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test food for adequate cooking and monitor food quality and temperatures.
- Prepare cold foods, portion and plate dishes, and set up and clean the work area.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow company and safety procedures, report maintenance needs and unsafe incidents or conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate professionally with colleagues.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, listen to colleagues, and meet quality standards.
- Duties involve extended standing, sitting, or walking; reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; and moving objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.
