CCTV Infrastructure Specialist (Systems Engineer)

📌 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical CCTV surveillance systems and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI).

You will ensure high-availability video monitoring and core infrastructure services by integrating robust server technologies, managing databases, and implementing clustering solutions.

The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing system performance and reliability for secure, scalable video storage and retrieval operations across large-scale venues.

You will collaborate closely with security and IT operations teams to minimize downtime, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

This position requires a proactive problem-solver with deep technical expertise in high-availability environments and cloud integration to support our advanced security infrastructure.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years focused on surveillance or video systems and HCI.

▸ Advanced proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 administration, including Active Directory, PowerShell, and Hyper-V.

▸ Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC).

▸ In-depth experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups for database high availability.

▸ Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) clusters.

▸ Knowledge of IP-based CCTV protocols (e.g., ONVIF, RTSP) and network troubleshooting for video traffic.

▸ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

▸ Must hold a Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Experience with HCI platforms such as Nutanix, VMware vSAN, or Microsoft Azure Stack HCI.

▸ Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification.

▸ CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent cybersecurity certification.

▸ Basic scripting skills in Python for system automation.

▸ Experience integrating on-premise infrastructure with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for hybrid storage and disaster recovery.
