Security and loss prevention duties
- Patrol the property, assist guests with room access, and monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire and life safety systems.
- Lock entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies; contact emergency medical services or provide first aid or CPR when required.
- Assist guests and employees during emergencies, notify appropriate people of incidents, and defuse disturbances.
- Summon outside assistance when needed, escort unwelcome persons from the property, and respond to vehicle accidents and thefts.
- Document incidents and shift activity; keep security and property records confidential and share them only with authorized individuals.
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, interview relevant parties, handle complaints, and resolve safety hazards.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, communicate professionally, and work toward team and quality standards.
Preferred qualifications and physical requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; no related work experience or supervisory experience is specified.
- No license or certification is specified.
- The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking; responding quickly; and moving through confined, elevated, uneven, or slippery areas and stairs or ramps.
- The role requires visual inspection and reading, computer use, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted or over 75 pounds with assistance.

Protect company assets and proprietary information and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
