Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute SDA/MDA category strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share.
- Identify growth opportunities through new brand onboarding, product expansion, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Build relationships with local distributors, authorized dealers, and marketplace sellers.
- Lead vendor onboarding and commercial negotiations on pricing, margins, promotional funding, payment terms, and agreements.
- Manage category P&L and monitor sales, GMV, revenue targets, and gross margins to improve profitability.
- Oversee assortment, catalogue selection, pricing competitiveness, and product availability.
- Benchmark competitors and analyze consumer demand to identify business opportunities.
- Plan promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and brand-led initiatives.
- Work with operations, marketing, technology, and account management teams to improve category performance.
- Analyze sales, inventory, and promotional effectiveness and implement data-driven plans to achieve targets.
Eligibility criteria
- At least 12 years of UAE/GCC e-commerce or retail experience; experience in relevant product categories is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience influencing stakeholders in complex business environments.
- Strong SDA/MDA expertise, including assortment, vendor management, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
- Demonstrated ownership of category P&L, sales targets, gross margins, and business growth.
- Established relationships with relevant UAE/GCC brands, suppliers, and distributors.
- Strong advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP; SQL knowledge is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree required; an MBA in Marketing, E-commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce marketplaces, consumer electronics retail, home appliance distribution, or organized retail.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Pay
- AED 15,000–18,000 per month.
