Hotel cashier position in the Food & Beverage / Restaurant department.
The role handles transactions and payments while providing customer service in a hotel or restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Process bills, invoices, and restaurant orders; operate POS systems and maintain transaction records.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Serve guests and customers, coordinate with restaurant staff and accounts, and resolve billing inquiries or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain daily sales and cashier reports and follow hotel, hygiene, and financial procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of cashier experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment; restaurant cashier experience is essential.
- Knowledge of IDS software, POS systems, and payment processing.
- Strong numerical, communication, and customer service skills; good command of English.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 1,500–3,000 per month.
