Experienced Cards Portfolio Growth & Optimization Manager sought for a project with a leading financial institution in Doha, Qatar.
The role focuses on credit and debit card portfolio growth, customer engagement, card usage, and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and drive credit and debit card portfolio growth and optimization.
- Develop strategies to increase card activation, usage, spending, and customer retention.
- Identify growth opportunities through portfolio analysis, customer segmentation, and lifecycle management.
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns, loyalty programmes, and spend stimulation initiatives.
- Improve cross-border, e-commerce, and digital wallet spending.
- Monitor portfolio KPIs, campaign performance, and ROI.
- Work with product, marketing, risk, and operations teams.
- Present portfolio performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of credit and/or debit card portfolio management experience within banking, card schemes, or financial services advisory.
- Hands-on experience in card portfolio growth, customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Strong knowledge of card products, customer lifecycle management, and campaign execution.
- Experience in portfolio analytics, customer segmentation, and performance reporting.
- Good knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Familiarity with loyalty programmes, digital payments, and card schemes.
- GCC banking experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Doha, Qatar.
