Job Summary
The Butcher is responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, deboning, and packaging meat products according to company standards while maintaining high levels of hygiene, food safety, and customer service.
The role ensures product quality, proper stock handling, and compliance with all food safety regulations.
Meat Preparation & Processing
- Cut, trim, debone, slice, and prepare meat products as per customer and business requirements.
- Ensure proper portioning and presentation of meat products.
- Minimize wastage and maximize yield during meat processing.
- Prepare value-added products such as marinated meats, minced meat, and specialty cuts.
Customer Service
- Assist customers in selecting meat products and provide product recommendations.
- Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward customers.
Hygiene & Food Safety
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure workstations, tools, equipment, and display counters are clean and sanitized.
- Monitor product freshness and remove expired or damaged products.
- Comply with HACCP and UAE Municipality food safety requirements.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Receive, inspect, and store meat products properly.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Assist in stock counts and inventory audits.
Equipment Maintenance
- Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment safely.
- Report any equipment malfunction immediately.
- Follow safety procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
& Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Butcher in FMCG, supermarket, hypermarket, wholesale, or retail industry.
- Knowledge of meat cuts, deboning, trimming, and processing techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.

Working Conditions
- Standing for extended periods.
- Handling sharp tools and equipment.

- **Salary:** Competitive Salary + Accommodation + Transportation + Medical Insurance (as per company policy).
- Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
