The Business Unit Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of a designated business unit, including planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring to achieve financial and strategic targets.
The role involves coordinating cross-functional activities, managing key projects, and aligning resources to meet client and stakeholder expectations.
The Business Unit Manager will analyze data and KPIs, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to processes, services, and profitability.
This role also includes building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business unit, operations, or general management, with responsibility for budgets, KPIs, and team performance.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, financial analysis, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage projects from concept to completion, including prioritization, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and client groups.
- Comfort with remote work tools and digital collaboration platforms, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience in the relevant industry or a similar services environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and change management capabilities in dynamic settings.
