Role overview
Business System Analyst role in the banking domain, connecting business Product Owners with IT delivery teams.
Location and work arrangement
- Toronto, Ontario; hybrid schedule with four onsite days per week.
Responsibilities
- Write user stories, develop process flows and functional specifications, and update the Jira backlog.
- Run backlog refinement and, as needed, scrum sessions as a backup Scrum Master.
- Define system functionalities and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to support delivery.
Requirements and preferred knowledge
- Experience working with a business Product Owner and acting as a liaison between business and IT delivery.
- Problem-solving, communication, conflict-resolution, and documentation skills are essential.
- SQL knowledge and Investor Services domain experience are good to have but not mandatory.
