AI Lead role for building an evolving ML/AI platform on cloud.
The role is in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid schedule requiring three onsite days per week.
The description requests technical depth, system design, and leadership and management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of an ML Ops solution using AWS services such as Amazon SageMaker and other platforms.
- Manage internal stakeholder relationships and drive the product roadmap.
- Collaborate across data science, data engineering, software development, business, platform, architecture, cloud engineering, and DevOps.
- Lead a geographically distributed offshore engineering team, provide technical direction, coach junior members, and manage priorities.
Requirements
- Strong blend of technical depth, system design, and leadership and management skills.
- Experience overseeing ML Ops solutions using AWS services such as Amazon SageMaker and other platforms.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and drive a product roadmap.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate with varied stakeholders.
- Experience leading and managing a distributed engineering team.
