Role Description
This full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist role is based in Dubai and focuses on driving growth for Spark AI’s SaaS and AI solution offerings.
The specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of prospects, and lead outreach through calls, emails, social channels, and events.
Day-to-day work includes conducting market research, understanding client needs, preparing and delivering tailored pitches and product demos, and collaborating with internal teams to shape proposals and pricing.
The role also involves nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, maintaining accurate CRM records, and meeting or exceeding sales targets and activity metrics.
The specialist will regularly gather feedback from prospects and clients to help refine Spark AI’s go-to-market strategy and product positioning.
Qualifications
- Strong SaaS sales background, with experience in full-cycle business development and closing deals in a B2B environment.
- Proficiency in lead generation and pipeline management, including prospecting, qualification, and opportunity nurturing.
- Analytical skills and market research abilities to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and prioritize target segments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical or AI-driven solutions in clear business terms.
- Customer service mindset and relationship-building skills to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms, and comfort working with data-driven performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in AI, technology, or software sectors and knowledge of the Dubai or broader Middle East market are advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
