Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist role based in Dubai.
The Business Development Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and conduct outreach to prospective clients through calls, meetings, events, and digital channels.
The role includes understanding client needs, collaborating with technical and product teams to shape tailored AI solutions, and preparing proposals, presentations, and demos that clearly communicate value.
The specialist will also support contract negotiations, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and track market trends and competitor activities to refine positioning.
Day-to-day work involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to drive revenue growth and ensure a smooth handoff from prospecting to implementation.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver clear, compelling presentations.
- Proficiency in lead generation and market research, including prospecting, qualification, and identifying new segments or use cases for AI solutions.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret client needs, evaluate data and trends, and support the development of tailored business cases and ROI models.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in technology, SaaS, or AI-related solutions.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools; experience in the Dubai or broader GCC market is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and translate technical concepts into business value.
