The Business Development Manager drives sponsorship and exhibition revenue for events and conferences.
The role secures new business, manages client relationships, develops strategic partnerships, and supports growth in the Saudi market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sponsorship and exhibition sales strategies; identify potential sponsors and exhibitors.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets, and build long-term client and stakeholder relationships.
- Serve as the main sponsor and exhibitor contact throughout the event cycle.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
- Develop targeted approaches for energy, technology, healthcare, and real estate sectors.
- Collaborate with project and marketing teams; contribute to sponsorship packages and exhibitor layouts.
- Ensure sponsor deliverables meet agreements; identify new markets and revenue opportunities.
- Align business development goals with organizational objectives in collaboration with senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven sales or business development track record, particularly in events and exhibitions.
- Middle East market experience; Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
