Role overview

The Business Development Manager will grow Ajax Systems' fire and life safety business in the UAE.

The role is described as operating from Dubai and focuses on sales growth, market development, and partner coverage.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in fire and life safety or a similar industry, plus UAE regional sales experience operating from Dubai.
Strong technical knowledge of fire systems and experience in the full sales process, from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
Experience developing sales strategies; strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project-prioritization skills.
Knowledge of electronic security trends, including cloud-based solutions and IoT.
Conversational English and Arabic are required.

Key responsibilities

Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs; develop and implement a UAE business development plan.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard partners, pursue new opportunities, and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Research markets and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and effective sales strategies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, prepare and deliver presentations, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.
