Overview
Job Title: Business Development Manager – Coffee Division (UAE & GCC)
Full-time \| Permanent Role
We are a growing green coffee importer, trader, and direct origin exporter supplying commercial, premium, and specialty coffee across the UAE and GCC markets.
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager with strong market connections and relationship-building capabilities within the Gulf coffee and HoReCa industry.
Location
UAE (Field-based role with regular travel across the Emirates and GCC)
Role Overview
- This is a highly commercial and relationship-driven role focused on business development, client acquisition, and market expansion within the UAE and GCC coffee industry.
- We are looking for someone with:
- Strong business development and sales capabilities
- Existing network within the Gulf coffee market
- Experience working with HoReCa, FMCG, coffee, or beverage industries
- Strong relationships with roasters, café groups, distributors, hotels, restaurants, and hospitality buyers
- Passion for building long-term partnerships and driving revenue growth
Business Development & Sales
- Drive sales growth across UAE and GCC markets
- Identify and onboard new clients including:
- Coffee roasters
- Café chains & specialty cafés
- HoReCa groups
- FMCG distributors
- Hotels & restaurants
- Traders and wholesalers
- Develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions
- Expand the company’s market presence within the Gulf region
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain a strong industry network across UAE and GCC
- Act as a trusted commercial partner to clients
- Maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business
- Support clients with product recommendations, sourcing solutions, and market updates
Market & Brand Development
- Represent the company at exhibitions, coffee events, networking forums, and industry conferences
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand
- Strengthen company positioning within the regional coffee and beverage market
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate shipment timelines, deliveries, and client communication
Required Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in:
- Coffee industry
- HoReCa
- FMCG
- Beverage distribution
- Food & beverage business development
- Strong network and existing industry relationships within UAE/GCC
- Proven track record in business development and revenue generation
- Experience managing B2B accounts and commercial negotiations
- UAE driving license is mandatory
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business development and networking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage field sales activities
- Understanding of coffee market and specialty coffee industry is a strong advantage
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Coffee certifications or industry training would be an added advantage
