2. Role Overview
- We are looking for a
- Business Manager – IoT Systems for Smart Buildings, UAE
- to support SolutionMall’s IoT and smart building business development in the United Arab Emirates.
- This is a flexible cooperation-based business development role suitable for professionals with local customer resources, channel relationships, system integrator connections, distributor experience, or business development experience in smart buildings, IoT systems, building automation, facility management, energy monitoring, ELV systems, security integration, HVAC control, or digital infrastructure projects.
- The role focuses on developing customer and project opportunities, identifying real smart building requirements, supporting RFQ development, coordinating quotations, and helping SolutionMall promote IoT system solutions for commercial buildings, facilities, and smart infrastructure projects in the UAE.
- This is not a simple device sales role.
- It is a B2B solution-oriented role focused on smart building systems, IoT integration, project-based opportunities, system integrators, facility operators, contractors, and long-term cooperation.
- The ideal candidate should be able to support:

Customer and Channel Development
- Develop customer and channel opportunities in the UAE, including:
- Commercial buildings
- Smart building projects
- Facility management companies
- Real estate developers
- Hotels and shopping malls
- Hospitals and campuses
- Industrial parks and logistics facilities
- System integrators
- ELV contractors
- MEP contractors
- Security and automation companies
- Government, enterprise, and institutional project contacts
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, facility operators, contractors, system integrators, distributors, consultants, procurement teams, and project stakeholders.
- Support SolutionMall in expanding access to smart building IoT projects, facility monitoring opportunities, and digital infrastructure solution needs in the UAE.
IoT Systems and Smart Building Solution Promotion
- Promote SolutionMall’s IoT and smart building solution resources, including:
- Smart sensors and data acquisition devices
- IoT gateways and communication modules
- Edge computing and local control devices
- Building automation and monitoring systems
- Energy monitoring and smart metering solutions
- Environmental monitoring systems
- HVAC monitoring and control solutions
- Lighting control and smart facility systems
- Access control and security system integration
- Remote monitoring platforms and centralized management systems
- Smart building data integration solutions
- Help customers understand how IoT devices, gateways, communication equipment, sensors, and platforms can be combined into practical smart building solutions based on actual application scenarios, site conditions, system integration needs, budget, maintenance requirements, and long-term operation goals.
RFQ and Quotation Follow-Up
Follow up with customers on project background, building type, application scenarios, monitoring needs, integration requirements, procurement direction, technical requirements, budget expectations, and delivery timelines.
Help convert early customer interest into active RFQs and practical solution discussions.
Coordinate with SolutionMall teams, suppliers, integrators, and customers to keep qualified IoT and smart building opportunities moving forward.
Support product selection, solution matching, quotation communication, project verification, technical confirmation, commercial negotiation, and order-related follow-up where needed.
Market Feedback and Commercial Coordination
- Share UAE market insights, including:
- Smart building demand trends
- IoT project opportunities
- Facility management needs
- Energy-saving and monitoring requirements
- System integration habits
- Channel and integrator conditions
- Competitor activity
- Pricing sensitivity
- Common procurement processes
- After-sales and maintenance expectations
- Help SolutionMall strengthen its market understanding and cooperation strategy in UAE smart building and IoT system projects.

Required
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- IoT systems business development
- Smart building solutions
- Building automation systems
- Facility management technology
- Energy monitoring or smart metering
- HVAC monitoring or control systems
- ELV systems or security integration
- System integration project sales
- Digital infrastructure solutions
- B2B technology solution sales
- Channel or distributor development
- RFQ and quotation follow-up
- Familiar with smart building or IoT system solutions and able to understand customer needs, application scenarios, product selection, solution matching, RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, and system integrator communication.
- Good communication skills and ability to develop customers, facility operators, system integrators, contractors, consultants, distributors, or project contacts in the UAE.
- Working proficiency in English.
Preferred
- Existing customer, channel, or system integrator resources in the UAE
- Experience with commercial buildings, hotels, shopping malls, hospitals, campuses, industrial parks, or facility management companies
- Experience in smart sensors, IoT gateways, energy monitoring, environmental monitoring, HVAC control, access control, or centralized management platforms
- Experience in RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, solution discussion, channel development, or project opportunity development
- Familiarity with UAE smart building, ELV, MEP, facility management, or digital infrastructure project ecosystems
- Arabic communication ability is preferred
