Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies across the UAE and GCC; identify and convert opportunities and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Build relationships with government entities, corporates, investors, institutions, and strategic partners; secure exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and delegates.
- Manage the business development cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing; conduct client meetings, presentations, networking, and industry event activities.
- Prepare proposals and sponsorship packages with internal teams; monitor market trends and commercial opportunities.
- Achieve business development and revenue targets; maintain CRM and pipeline records and report to management.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Conference, and Operations teams to support commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, exhibitions, conferences, or events.
- Strong UAE and GCC market knowledge; an existing regional business network is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills; experience with senior executives, government entities, and corporate stakeholders.
- Commercially driven, proactive, and target-oriented; willing to travel across the UAE and GCC.
- Experience in exhibitions, conferences, investment, government, financial services, real estate, trade promotion, or B2B events is an advantage.
