3D Graphic Designer

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Create 3D designs and visualizations for stands, booths, conferences, and event spaces based on client needs, themes, brand guidelines, and available space.
• Prepare 3D renders, layouts, floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings; convert concepts into practical, fabrication-ready designs.
• Ensure dimensions, measurements, scale, and specifications are accurate.
• Prepare drawings for carpentry, fabrication, branding, electrical, lighting, furniture, and other elements as needed.
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, carpentry, and project teams; review venue requirements and applicable site guidelines.
• Revise designs using client and team feedback; visit sites when needed for measurements and conditions.
• Prepare client and management presentations, maintain drawing and design-file versions, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience; exhibitions, events, interiors, or fabrication experience is preferred.
• Strong creative and visualization ability, attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
• Technical drawing and drafting skills; able to prepare and interpret plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and construction details.
• Understanding of fabrication, carpentry, materials, structures, construction methods, space planning, measurements, scale, and proportions.
• Able to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and coordinate designs with production teams.
• AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory; a portfolio of previous 3D exhibition or event designs is required.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict event deadlines.

Software

• Relevant design software includes 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray or Corona, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Lumion, Enscape, or similar rendering software.
• AutoCAD is mandatory; other listed software is presented as relevant software rather than individually mandated.

Preferred experience

• Experience designing exhibition stands, event and conference setups, custom booths, stages and backdrops, branding structures, retail or promotional displays, and temporary event structures.
