Position summary
Drive growth for the PCO Division by acquiring conference and event management projects and developing partnerships in healthcare and medical sectors.
Pursue opportunities across the UAE, GCC, and international markets, with annual revenue and profitability targets.
Business development and client relationships
- Identify and secure healthcare conferences, congresses, meetings, and event management opportunities from relevant organizations.
- Prospect and convert leads, build a sales pipeline, and pursue revenue and gross profit targets.
- Build relationships with healthcare decision-makers, support repeat business and account growth, and conduct meetings, presentations, and networking.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, budgets, costings, and tenders with operations, finance, and event teams; negotiate contracts and commercial terms.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, bidding opportunities, and industry developments; attend conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Develop strategic partnerships, support destination promotion and congress bidding, and expand the regional healthcare conference portfolio.
- Maintain CRM opportunity, activity, and forecast records; report on pipeline, sales, performance, and market intelligence to senior management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Event Management, or a related field; bachelor's degree is listed as preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, client acquisition, or account management.
- Demonstrated success winning and managing new business opportunities.
- PCO, conference, exhibition, or UAE/GCC healthcare and medical sector experience is preferred.
- An existing network among healthcare societies, associations, hospitals, providers, pharmaceutical companies, or government healthcare entities is highly desirable.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 7,000–13,000 per month.
