Role overview

Business Development Executive focused on freight-forwarding sales in the UAE.

Locations listed: Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.

The role targets business growth across air, sea, and land freight services.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business; generate leads, meet clients, and convert prospects.
Maintain client and key-account relationships and manage a portfolio across air, sea, and land freight.
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, pricing, and competitors.
Coordinate with operations and internal teams to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Visit clients regularly and find cross-selling opportunities.
Pay range stated as AED 5,000–7,000 per month.

Requirements

At least 2 years of proven UAE freight-forwarding sales experience; listed experience entries separately state 1 year for freight sales, UAE freight sales, and air, land, and sea.
Active client base across air, sea, and land freight services.
Understanding of freight-forwarding terminology, Incoterms, logistics processes, and UAE/regional market pricing and competition.
Able to generate business, manage key accounts, close deals independently, and meet targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Valid UAE driving licence is preferred in the requirements; the licence section separately labels it required.

Workplace

Work location is in person; regular client visits are part of the role.
