Business Development Executive – Food Products Trading
About This Role
- Identify and develop new customers for food products across the UAE market.
- Expand the company's presence among wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and institutional buyers.
- Actively prospect new accounts through field visits, networking, and industry contacts.
- Generate and close sales orders for products including rice (various grades including jasmine and parboiled), sugar, pulses, and other packaged or bulk food commodities.
- Develop relationships with food wholesalers, supermarket chains, retail outlets, Horeca suppliers, corporate buyers (labour camps, catering companies), and community stores.
- Maintain regular interaction with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Understand customer demand patterns and communicate market intelligence to management.
- Identify new product opportunities and emerging market trends.
- Provide feedback regarding pricing, demand patterns, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate internally regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and logistics.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of orders and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitors and pricing trends in the UAE food trading market.
- Provide weekly market updates to management.
