About the company
The employer is described as a well-established UAE business group with interests in FMCG, food distribution, retail, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new business for frozen warehousing and cold-chain 3PL services, targeting food importers, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, ice cream, distributors, and HORECA suppliers.
- Sell frozen storage from −18°C to −25°C, pallet-position utilization, inbound/outbound handling, and reefer transportation.
- Prepare competitive, profitable quotations for storage, handling, transportation, and value-added logistics.
- Own new-customer acquisition targets, contracted pallet volumes, tonnage, and storage revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of relevant UAE experience in 3PL frozen warehousing and cold-chain logistics.
- Proven new-customer acquisition experience rather than dependence on existing accounts.
- Technical knowledge of frozen storage operations, pallet capacity, warehouse occupancy, storage rates, and handling charges.
- Ability to prepare profitable quotations and negotiate storage, handling, transportation, SLA, payment, and contract terms.
Compensation
- Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications; the package includes a company car.
