Business Development Engineer - Critical Power Solutions

Role overview

What you will do

• Initiate and execute regional business-development activities with customer service organizations, partners, and customers.
• Build cooperation across sales, presales, services, and other Eaton business units.
• Build ecosystem product knowledge through training-needs identification and knowledge sharing.
• Drive product launches and bring customer input into new-product definition.
• Help sales and presales teams select account-specific portfolios and position value propositions.
• Share local competitive, pricing, and market-trend information with relevant stakeholders.
• Partner with product managers and business-unit functions to maintain market and customer contact.
• Own the regional factory forecast and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; an MBA is a plus.
• Relevant experience in business development, commerce, key account management, or product management within three-phase UPS, power distribution, or the datacenter industry.
• Good understanding of electrical equipment and low-voltage application requirements.
• Good knowledge of power electronics and UPS systems.
• Initiative, autonomy, customer focus, communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous.
