About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Business Development Coordinator to support work-winning activities across the Middle East.
This role will work closely with senior stakeholders and bid teams to strengthen our ability to identify, position for, and secure key opportunities.
The role is centred on providing high-quality market intelligence, supporting strategic bids, and helping build strong client relationships that lead to repeat business.
You will play a key role in ensuring we focus on the right opportunities, backed by insight and effective engagement.
Bidding & Work Winning Support
- Proactively support work-winning activities across the Middle East region.
- Work closely with bid teams and senior stakeholders on priority and “must-win” opportunities.
- Provide research, insight, and coordination support to strengthen bid strategies and submissions.
- Act as a key support contact for business development input into bids.
Market Intelligence & Research
- Conduct research into key clients, competitors, markets, and sectors.
- Identify emerging trends, market drivers, and “hot topics” influencing opportunities.
- Provide actionable insight to inform positioning and bid approaches.
Opportunity Tracking & Data Management
- Capture and maintain accurate data on opportunities, pipeline, and client interactions.
- Analyse data and trends to support decision-making and prioritisation.
- Provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders.
Content & Bid Support
- Assist in the development of bid content including capability statements, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Contribute to positioning strategies by aligning messaging with market insights.
- Support bid teams with relevant intelligence to strengthen submissions.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in business development, bids, or work winning support within the construction, engineering, or built environment sector.
- Strong ability to conduct research and market intelligence analysis.
- Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Strong IT and data analysis skills.
