Role Description
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven
Business Development Associate
to join us on a
part-time, commission-only basis
.
In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospitality sector across Qatar.
You will be responsible for lead generation, prospecting, pitching, and closing deals, earning commission for every successful customer you bring on board.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on flexible, performance-based work and has a strong network or ability to build relationships in the local F&B and hotel industry.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Presentation Skills and delivering impactful Presentations
- Proven ability in Lead Generation and conducting detailed Market Research
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Experience in a business development or sales-related role is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a preferred qualification
Key Responsibilities
- **Lead Identification:**
- Research and identify potential customers within the hospitality market, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, catering companies, and other food & beverage venues.
- **Market Segmentation:**
- Analyze the market to prioritize high-potential segments (e.g., quick-service restaurants, fine dining, hotel room service, large-scale F&B operators).
- **Outbound Prospecting:**
- Contact decision-makers (owners, general managers, F&B directors, IT managers) via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person visits to introduce the platform’s value.
- **Product Presentation:**
- Explain how the fully automated, AI-powered SaaS solution works, including the one-month free trial, the free version (2% transaction fee on end customers), and paid packages (monthly subscription).
- **Closing & Onboarding:**
- Guide prospects through the sales process, handle objections, and close agreements.
- Once closed, ensure smooth onboarding and handover to the support team.
- **Commission-Based Goal:**
- Achieve a mutually agreed number of closed deals per month, with uncapped earning potential based on performance.
Expectations
- **Time Commitment:**
- Part-time (approximately 10–20 hours per week, flexible schedule).
- **Compensation:**
- 100% commission on every signed customer.
- Commission structure will be shared upon discussion (e.g., percentage of first year subscription, or fixed fee per deal, etc.).
- **Performance:**
- Self-starter mentality required – no base salary, but high-performing associates can earn significantly.
- **Reporting:**
- Provide weekly updates on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and closed deals via simple CRM or shared spreadsheet.

Requirements
- **Experience:**
- At least 1 year of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (preferably in B2B, tech, or hospitality).
- **Network:**
- Familiarity with the Qatari market, especially Doha, Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Al Shahaniya, and Industrial Area and knowledge of local restaurants, cafes, and hotels is a strong plus.
- **Communication:**
- Excellent spoken and written Arabic and English.
- **Own Transport:**
- Reliable transportation to meet potential clients in person when needed.
- **Tech Comfort:**
- Ability to learn and demonstrate a SaaS platform.
- Basic use of email, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets required.
- **Self-Discipline:**
- Able to manage time independently and consistently pursue targets without supervision.
