Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid Business Continuity Manager role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
The Business Continuity Manager will develop, implement, and maintain business continuity and resilience plans to ensure critical operations can continue during disruptions.
Day-to-day tasks include assessing business processes, identifying risks and vulnerabilities, conducting impact analyses, and designing mitigation strategies in coordination with key stakeholders.
The role involves regularly testing and updating continuity plans, leading training and awareness sessions, and coordinating response efforts during incidents or drills.
The manager will also collaborate with leadership to align continuity strategies with enterprise risk management and regulatory expectations relevant to the real estate sector.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Business Continuity Planning and Business Continuity to design, implement, and maintain robust continuity frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Business Resilience and Enterprise Risk Management to strengthen organizational preparedness and integrate continuity with overall risk strategies.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to conduct risk and impact assessments, interpret data, and prioritize actions based on business needs.
- Experience in incident response, crisis management, or operational risk within real estate, property management, or a related industry is beneficial.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Relevant academic background in business, risk management, or a related field; professional certifications in business continuity or risk (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301-related credentials) are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple initiatives, and adapt to a fast-paced, client-focused real estate market in Dubai.
