Work arrangement

• The role is listed as on-site in Yarralumla, Australian Capital Territory.

Compensation

• The advertised pay rate is $130,000 AUD to $140,000 AUD per annum.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Map current and future-state processes and identify pain points, risks, and opportunities.
• Define business, functional, and non-functional requirements, process maps, and user journeys.
• Shape early ideas into initiatives with scope, objectives, and business value.
• Assess solution options and support business cases and recommendations.
• Work with architects, engineers, and technology providers.
• Define integration and data-flow requirements and participate in testing and acceptance.
• Support automation, AI, and emerging technology adoption.

What you will bring

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar.
• Strong process analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping skills.
• Stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills across business and technical teams.
• Ability to structure loosely defined problems.
• Understanding of business applications, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Experience supporting technology implementation or business improvement initiatives.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.

Desirable skills and experience

• Enterprise systems, digital transformation, process improvement, AI, or automation experience is desirable.
• Manufacturing, assembly, construction, or industrial environment experience is desirable.
• Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, or similar enterprise environment experience is desirable.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, information systems, technology, engineering, or a related discipline are desirable.
