IT Manager

Role overview

Location and work arrangement

• Role is on-site and based in Sydney CBD or at the Kempsey factory.
• Regular regional and interstate travel is required.

Technology operations

• Deliver IT service and support across Kempsey, Sydney and the retail network.
• Maintain networks, servers, cloud services and security systems.
• Manage hardware, software, licensing and user access changes.
• Develop IT policies and procedures and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Support corporate and production technology requirements.

Projects and vendors

• Oversee IT projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support the NetSuite ERP project across infrastructure, data, integrations, user access and testing.
• Lead AI integration from use-case identification through implementation.
• Manage MSPs, suppliers and support partners and monitor SLA performance.
• Review contracts, licences and renewals, negotiate terms and assess value.
• Partner with department heads on technology needs and practical solutions.
• Provide training and support to staff on systems and tools.

Candidate requirements

• Bring at least 5 years of IT management or similar experience.
• Demonstrate IT infrastructure, security and operational best-practice knowledge.
• Have experience with vendors, MSPs, contracts, SLAs and IT project delivery.
• Have exposure to ERP implementation or another major business-system rollout.
• Have experience supporting corporate and production or manufacturing technology.
• Hold a relevant IT, Computer Science or related qualification, or equivalent experience.

Desirable experience

• NetSuite, time and attendance or workforce systems experience is desirable.
• Practical AI application to business processes is desirable.
• Scripting or systems integrations experience is desirable.
