Bus Driver - Reception and Quality Control

Job Purpose

Key Results Accountabilities

• Drive the buses in all depots between the reception offices and the workshops as well as external workshops, also carryout road test for all the buses.
• Provide assistance for Roadside Assistance Technical Team
• Transfer all required spares parts & equipment to the agencies/suppliers and depots
• Drive sewerage tanker to collect sewerage water from Depots, as per schedule to ensure sewage is removed, transported and disposed of according to Dubai Municipality policies and procedures
• Perform scheduled cleaning, safety and maintenance checks for both operations & storage buses including wheel rolling, fuelling, washing, test drive, moving and parking
• Operate all heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Report the concerned supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Perform other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate.
• Verify that the vehicle has safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid box, Emergency door function, glass breaking hammer, and other equipment such as up to date vehicle registration certificate copy.
• Ensure vehicles equipment are safely operated and in good condition
• Carryout daily routine check, such as tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, fuel, oil level, radiator Coolant level, A/C, cleanliness of bus external and internal.
• Strictly Adhere to RTA Information Security policies, procedures, and processes.
• Strictly follow the Information Security data sharing guidelines for all internal and external data transfers.
• Immediately report any Information Security incidents to your line manager and IT support for prompt guidance and resolution.
• Actively participate in all assigned Information Security training and awareness sessions to enhance your knowledge and address potential Information Security risks.
• Always comply with instructions and guidance provided by your line manager in line to the Information Security requirements

Education

• :
• Primary School or equivalent.

Skills

• Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. Arabic will be an advantage
• 0-2 years of working experience.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Must hold a valid UAE heavy bus Driving License.
