Broadcast Technician For Arabian Radio Network

• part of Dubai Holding Entertainment.
• You’ll play a critical role in supporting and maintaining ARN’s broadcast and technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless transmission and high-quality on-air performance across platforms.
• In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
• Maintain and ensure uptime of radio and social broadcast infrastructure
• Provide technical support and training to On-Air teams
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across all ARN departments
• Monitor and maintain broadcast equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Repair and replace faulty components at a detailed level
• Support installation and maintenance of studio, transmission, and network systems
• Ensure studios and technical areas are safe, clean, and fully operational
• Carry out general operational tasks and support Broadcast & Technology initiatives
• Work in a 24/7 shift environment and handle high-pressure situations effectively
• About you:
• Diploma/Degree in Sound, Transmission, or Electronics (Media Engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a radio or broadcast environment
• Experience working in a tapeless broadcast facility
• Strong technical knowledge of broadcast systems including automation, transmitters, and networks
• Familiarity with equipment such as Analog/Digital Mixers, AOIP, microphones, OB setups, broadcast cameras, video mixers, and audio processors
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, live broadcast environment
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
