We are looking for a Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper with strong attention to detail and at least **1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience**.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling day-to-day financial tasks and supporting the finance team with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Post daily financial transactions and journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and supplier/customer balances
- Maintain general ledgers and financial records
- Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Process petty cash and reimbursements
- Assist with monthly and annual closing
- Keep accounting files organized for audit purposes
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Good understanding of VAT filing and UAE tax rules
- Proficient in accounting software (Zoho Books, SAP, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
Other Requirements
- Able to work independently
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with teams and vendors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
