Your Impact
Jacobs is seeking a BIM professional to support electrical, telecommunications, ICT, security, infrastructure, and building ELV design delivery.
The role supports project teams across engineering design, BIM coordination, digital delivery, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Role Requirements and Duties
- Prepare standards, details, typical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Generate Revit models and 2D drawings for building ELV, electrical services, and infrastructure dry utilities.
- Assist with bill-of-quantities estimates, BIM project setup, and family or library creation.
- Perform Navisworks clash testing, report generation, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate telecommunications designs with engineers, lead offices, and other disciplines.
- Develop FEED, detailed engineering, OSP cabling, communication hardware, duct, manhole, and meet-me-room drawings.
Technical Knowledge
- The role covers LAN, PABX, CCTV, access control, radio, PAGA, Ethernet wireless, weather monitoring, data center, GSM, and security systems.
- Working knowledge is required for outside-plant cabling, fiber optics, structural cabling, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Awareness of Indian and international standards, including BICSI and CITC, is required.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is required.
- A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in mechanical engineering is required.
- At least seven years of consultancy or EPC water-sector design experience is required.
- Dynamo capabilities and Middle East project experience are preferred.
- Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge and experience with Middle East, Australia, or UK projects are advantageous.
