Job Description** **Role Overview

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to luxury brand standards.
• Create classic and signature cocktails with consistency and precision.
• Ensure timely delivery of beverages to poolside and beach guests.
• Maintain full knowledge of recipes, ingredients, garnishes, and presentation standards.

Guest Experience

• Engage with guests in a warm, approachable, and professional manner.
• Make personalised drink recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Deliver service that is discreet, attentive, and aligned with a relaxed resort atmosphere.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback.

Pool & Beach Bar Operations

• Set up and prepare pool and beach bar stations prior to service.
• Ensure bar areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of beverages, ice, garnishes, and glassware.
• Coordinate closely with pool & beach service teams for smooth order flow.
• Support closing procedures including cleaning, stock replenishment, and cash handling.

Product Knowledge & Upselling

• Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail menus.
• Stay updated on seasonal drinks, promotions, and signature offerings.
• Actively promote and upsell premium beverages and experiences.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Follow all HACCP, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in line with regulations.
• Maintain safe handling of bar equipment in outdoor environments.
• Ensure compliance with poolside safety awareness and guest wellbeing.

Teamwork & Coordination

• Work closely with pool & beach waiters, hosts, and supervisors to ensure efficient service.
• Support colleagues during peak periods to maintain smooth operations.
• Participate in daily briefings and operational updates.

Qualifications** **Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, beach club, or high-end resort preferred.
• Strong mixology skills and knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Experience in outdoor or high-volume leisure environments is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of beverage service standards.
• Excellent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
