Novotel World Trade Centre seeks an experienced bartender to welcome guests and provide bar service in line with hotel brand standards and values.
Bartender responsibilities
- Greet guests, take drink orders, prepare and serve beverages, and offer recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar; clean glassware and equipment; and restock supplies.
- Provide responsible alcohol service and comply with legal requirements.
- Process payments and cash transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with hotel and kitchen colleagues on service and food and beverage orders.
- Create signature drinks and specials, and suggest food and drink pairings.
- Track inventory and stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Attend training on recipes, menu changes, and service standards.
- Participate in promotional events and themed nights.
- Build relationships with regular guests and support colleagues during busy periods and events.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
- Strong customer service, communication, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Understand responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with regulations.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Bartending or alcohol-serving certification is an advantage.
