Maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Welcome customers warmly and take orders accurately.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash and card payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and workstations.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries.
- Promote menu items and upsell products when appropriate.
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support team members with daily operations and opening and closing duties.
Qualifications and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous Barista or food and beverage service experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machines.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.
