The Bakery Sales Associate supports customer service and a positive shopping experience at the bakery.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive service and greet customers.
- Assist customers with product selection and recommend items or daily specials.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain stocked, organized, visually appealing product displays.
- Explain ingredients, dietary options, and new products to customers.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary sales area and follow food safety standards.
- Restock products and report low-stock items.
- Address complaints professionally and escalate issues when needed.
- Support sales targets and collaborate toward store objectives.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- A hospitality diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Previous retail, sales, or barista skills are an advantage.
