Service and operations
- Inspect staff grooming and attire, coordinate teamwork, and communicate with guests and departments to meet guest needs.
- Monitor dining-room seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Complete maintenance work orders and scheduled inventories; check stock and requisition food, liquor, and other supplies.
- Manage the assigned bank, verify funds, secure it, and obtain change for expected business levels.
- Communicate last call at the designated closing time.
Staff, guest service, and standards
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, communicate professionally, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and meet quality standards.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- No license or certification specified.
Physical demands
- The role may require extended standing, sitting, or walking; lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds without assistance; and navigating stairs, ramps, confined spaces, or elevated spaces.
