Hands-on platform engineering role on a project building a secure, internally developed, Copilot-style AI assistant on Microsoft Azure.
The role emphasizes enterprise platform configuration and architecture over heavy coding.
Contract and workplace
- 12-month extendable contract.
- Onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience and strong Azure AI platform expertise.
- Deep Azure AI Foundry knowledge and strong Azure OpenAI experience.
- Experience implementing Azure AI Search and enterprise RAG.
- Strong platform configuration expertise, AI governance and security knowledge, and experience establishing Azure AI environments and reference architectures.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, OIDC, SSO, authentication, RBAC, and enterprise data permissions.
- Must hold either Microsoft AI-102 or Microsoft AI-103 certification.
Key responsibilities
- Establish the Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI environment, platform, and reference architecture.
- Set up retrieval-augmented generation using Azure AI Search.
- Establish Entra ID authentication, SSO, role-based access, data permissions, and document-level security.
- Set up prompt management, agents, and tool integration.
- Enable secure access to internal documents and knowledge sources.
