Associate Technical Product Owner - Web & Mobile

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture team-driven innovation ideas and consolidate them for discussion with the Product Management community.
• Create story content, define acceptance criteria, sign off stories, and maintain team backlogs through refinement and prioritization.
• Capture, refine, and prioritize technical debt and non-functional requirements across sprints.
• Add business-as-usual, ceremony, and spike activities to backlogs within available capacity.
• Prepare contributions to Program Increment demonstrations with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain feature quality and integrity, and communicate risks and dependencies to the Product Portfolio backlog.
• Attend management meetings, particularly Program Increment planning.
• Define success and performance metrics for prioritized work and propose further iterations within available capacity.
• Contribute to the Product Owner community, continuous improvement, and the Product Management Playbook.

Qualifications and experience

• A degree in Operations Research, Marketing Science, Information Systems, or e-Commerce is required, or an industry certification combined with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in a role inside or outside technology, suitable for starting a product management career as an Associate Technical Product Owner.
• Scaled Agile framework experience is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge and skills

• Use tools for the Technical Product Management aspects of software delivery.
• Communicate strongly and concisely, build relationships with peers and team members, and maintain a customer-centric focus on value.
