Experienced Associate / Principal Mechanical Engineer role based in Riyadh, KSA.
Leads mechanical design and technical delivery for major multidisciplinary projects in the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review mechanical designs.
- Lead design activities and coordinate mechanical services with other disciplines.
- Deliver technically robust and compliant solutions.
Candidate requirements
- 12+ years of relevant mechanical engineering design experience and strong consultancy experience on medium- to large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
- Experience leading mechanical design from concept through detailed design and tender stages.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, ventilation, heating, plumbing and drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Experience preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions.
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
- At least 5 years of Middle East design experience; Saudi/GCC project experience preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards, codes, and Middle East regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and relevant mechanical design/calculation software.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional registration/chartership is advantageous.
