Associate MLOps Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production, development, and staging environments.
• Troubleshoot issues with DevOps, MLOps, and development teams.
• Support observability, incident response, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Support infrastructure security, regulatory compliance, SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs.
• Participate in business-hours on-call rotation with senior engineer escalation support.
• Support cloud cost optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

Required skills and experience

• Have 1–2 years of SRE, DevOps, or similar experience; internships and hands-on projects are considered.
• Understand high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, infrastructure security, compliance, and governance.
• Have exposure to Infrastructure as Code, including modularity, reusability, versioning, CDK, or Terraform.
• Understand observability patterns including logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Have experience with AWS, monitoring tools, containers, microservices, event-driven architecture, scripting, and automation.
• A systematic approach to debugging and experience in Agile environments are valued.

AWS technologies

• AWS experience may include Lambda, ECS, Fargate, ALB, ELB, API Gateway, Route53, CloudFront, and AppSync.
• AWS data and messaging services include DynamoDB, RDS with PostgreSQL, Aurora, EventBridge, SNS, and SQS.
• AWS security and developer tools include Security Groups, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, IAM, ECR, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.

Preferred qualifications

• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Next.js, Node.js, Python, Auth0, or SSO is preferred.
• Awareness of SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, multi-region deployments, databases, caching, CDNs, ETL, vector databases, or graph databases is advantageous.
