Full-time faculty position in accounting at Assistant Professor rank.
The department welcomes diverse accounting backgrounds and has particular interest in candidates focused on taxation.
Role duties
- Contribute to departmental teaching, research activities, and service.
- Teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications
- PhD in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited university.
- Evidence of publications and promising research potential.
- A PhD from an AACSB-accredited institution in North America is preferred.
- PhD completed within the last five years, preferably within three, or nearing completion.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting and PhD in Accounting is preferred; alternatively, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business plus a PhD in Accounting is sufficient.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and tax-free in the UAE; no salary cadence is stated.
- Free housing, paid utilities, and other benefits are provided.
Workplace
- The university is located in Sharjah’s University City; English is the language of instruction and workplace.
