Develop learning strategies and deliver training while supporting staffing, employee management, safety training, and quality standards.
Learning and staffing
- Meet with managers and department or division heads about staffing and recruitment needs, open requisitions, and candidate qualifications.
- Develop learning strategies and plans with management based on needs assessments.
- Design, develop, and produce training materials such as workbooks, manuals, job aids, and posters.
- Prepare classes, create interactive training in various formats, and conduct group training.
- Monitor departmental safety training and orientation.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Service, safety, and standards
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; communicate clearly and prepare accurate written documents.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
- The role may involve extended standing, sitting, or walking, computer or point-of-sale use, and moving items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is listed as preferred.
