Housekeeping operations
- Inspect cleaned guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas for compliance with quality standards.
- Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
- Coordinate housekeeping work with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Resolve room-status discrepancies with the Front Desk, communicate room-assignment changes, brief the next shift, and complete paperwork.
Team and guest service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Follow company and safety policies, report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect company assets, welcome guests, address service needs, and communicate professionally.
- Meet quality expectations and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High-school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- No license or certification specified.
Physical demands
- The role involves handling objects, pushing and pulling housekeeping equipment, and standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods.
- The description specifies lifting objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
